2022 is a special year for us: We’re celebrating our company’s 100th anniversary.
Our company was born from a single idea: Our founders wanted to find a way to protect the pipe network for the gas lanterns illuminating the streets of Berlin. Today, we’re an international group with our headquarters in Leverkusen and over 100 sales partners around the world. Our inventive spirit and passion have always been, and continue to be, key to our success. We develop innovative, customer-focused solutions to ensure long-term safety in energy transport and durability on our roads.

How it all began
The history of our company can be traced back to a single idea: To use DENSO’s petrolatum-dipped gauze tape to protect the supply lines to gas lanterns. This creative application was revolutionary at the time, as the solution was the world’s first reliable way to prevent corrosion on pipelines. DENSO® -Tape became the starting point for our company’s 100-year success story.
Since then, while the demands placed on people and our product have changed, our curiosity and creativity have never wavered. Driven by a desire to meet our customers’ needs, we develop innovative product and system solutions for corrosion prevention and road construction – each of which is a milestone not only for our company, but for the entire industry.
